We've asked Amy a few questions so everyone can get to know her, so here goes:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself

I am a mum to two beautiful boys, George and Archie. They currently take up all of my time as they just never tire, I mean really they can play tag for like 8 hours straight!!
I’m often described as chatty, passionate and loyal by people who know me, my friends and family are so important to me and I love to just relax in their company, preferably over some fizz.

2. Please tell everyone your new role and a little bit about your professional background

I have started as a Recruitment Administrator in the Newcastle office, supporting the team up here.

Since 2013 I have worked for Virgin Money as a Facilities Assistant, looking after the head office in Newcastle and all of our stores. I would allocate jobs out to contractors ranging from electrical issues, HVAC problems to remodelling of old spaces.

3. What is the first job you ever had

My first job was at an organic food store called Out of this World, I was 15 at the time and really just enjoyed getting discount on all the food!!

4. What do you like to do in your spare time

Spare time, what is that! When I’m not tending to the every need of my 2 and 4 year old, I enjoy Yoga, Hypnotherapy, Meditation and a little bit of retail therapy with the girls!

5. Dream travel location

I’d love to say somewhere hot and exotic, but I have always wanted to go to Tokyo and stay in a futuristic hotel and just wander around trying all the lovely street food.

6. What is your favourite sport

Well I am certainly not very sporty, but I do enjoy watching Formula 1. My husband recently took me to watch a Newcastle match for date night, I wasn’t impressed at first but found myself really get into it, so maybe I could become a football fan in the near future.

7. Favourite movie/book

I am a massive Marvel fan, but favourite one is probably Infinity War if I had to choose.

I like non fiction books and for some reason I like the emotional books so it would have to be The boy called it!

8. Favourite country visited

I was lucky enough to go travelling around Australia, NZ and South East Asia when I was 19 and I absolutely fell in love with Vietnam and Cambodia, they are such beautiful places. I would love to take my family to Vietnam when my boys are older.

9. What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery

A plane ticket to Italy to shop for a holiday home!

10. Hidden talents?

Does Multi-tasking count, I can cook whilst unloading the dishwasher whilst loading the washing whilst singing wind the bobbin with my 2 year old…

I also have a little love for renovating houses, whilst it may not be a talent it is something I am good at
