Job Purpose:

Working for a leading Facilities Management company, you will be based across large Education facilities in Nottingham.

• Supervise a mobile engineering team completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical services.
  

   

• Oversee a team of multi-skilled engineers and technicians.
  

   

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of multi-skilled Hard Services engineers and technicians.
  

   

• Oversee and carry out PPM, reactive maintenance, and emergency works in line with contract requirements.
  

   

• Occasionally support project works and minor turnkey projects.
  

   

• Provide detailed reports for remedial works and lifecycle conditions.
  

   

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of service reports and timesheets.
  

   

• Act as a key point of contact for Facilities Maintenance clients.
  

   

• Maintain high levels of technical support and effective client communication.
  

   

• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards and industry regulations.
  

   

• Supervise response to reactive maintenance and Helpdesk requests.
  

   

• Coordinate with specialist sub-contractors.
  

   

• Support Estimators with quotations for remedial and extra works.
  

   

• Ensure team training and competency remain current.
  

   

• Manage the on-call rota and cover emergencies related to mechanical and electrical services.
  

   

• Attend meetings and provide a technical interface with the site manager.
  

   

• Manage resources, including consumables, equipment, and fleet.
  

   

Person Specification:

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Installations
  

   

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
  

   

• Completed Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent
  

   

• Experience as a Low Voltage Appointed Person
  

   

• Basic mechanical systems knowledge
  

   

• Supervisory experience
  

   

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
  

   

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  

   

• Experience in producing minor works and repair quotations
  

   

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
