Fire Manager FRA

12 month contract - Immediate Start

Manchester 

£268 per day

Our client is looking for a FRA Fire Manager to join their team in the North West, to manage Fire Risk Assessments and their associated remedials.  This is a client facing role  and you will  be working with the existing PPM manager.

This is a managerial role with support from a central Fire Safety Compliance Manager.

The Role 


  • Manage the Fire Risk Assessment programme alongside our PPM manager.
  • Review FRA's as they arrive for quality and ensure accurate representations of each building are provided. Some site visits may be required.
  • Sub-contractor relationship and management - The client employ accredited Sub-contractors to carry out the FRA's. You will be their primary contact.
  • Process each remedial action in each FRA checking for accuracy and then categorising.
  • Upload each FRA remedial to CPad - The Clients CAFM system and assign to the correct area.
  • Request quotations from our accredited subcontractors for remedial repairs and manage to completion.
  • Uploading all FRA documents to the Client CAFM system
  • Ensuring that Cpad is always up to date and accurate. The client has full visibility of the FRA programme and remedials.

Job Skills & Qualifications


  • Fire related qualifications - Nebosh/FPA etc
  • Membership of IFSM, IFE or equivalent
  • Experience of Fire Risk Assessments - Carrying out or reviewing.
  • Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong Knowledge of the Fire Safety Order and various British Standards
  • Experience in the structure of a fire risk assessment and what the document means. (PAS 79)
  • Understanding the fire risk assessment actions, who is responsible and how do we remediate the issues.
  • Confident and be able to project that confidence is discussions around fire safety, either within the Equans team or in discussion with the Client.
