Role: Facilities Officer
Location: Dartford
Salary: £32,000
Our client, a Facilities Management and Housing Provider, is looking for a Facilities Officer to look after their two housing developments in Dartford.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a friendly and progressive, flexible organisation who are growing and have lots of secure career and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will work with the Technical Services team, carrying out safety checks and ensuring all records are up to date. This role would be ideal for an experienced caretaker looking to take the next step in their career.
Key role responsibilities:
- Conduct quarterly and annual fire door inspections.
Perform weekly and monthly fire safety system tests, including fire alarms, AOVs, sprinklers, fireman's lifts, and dry risers.
Maintain secure physical and digital records of all inspections and tests.
Report any faults or health & safety issues encountered on-site to relevant teams.
Assist in annual fire risk assessments and support specialist contractors as needed.
Skills Required:
- Previous relevant experience with building safety checks.
Proficiency in basic Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
Driving Licence and own vehicle.
