Role: Quantity Surveyor - Small works project

Location: Oxford

Contract: Permanent 

Salary: £55k plus £5 car allowance

Travel: 3-4 days in Oxford and 1 day in London

Security Clearance: High-level clearance required (SC or DV - or eligibility to obtain)

Are you a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? On behalf of our client, we're seeking a proactive, qualified QS to take ownership of smaller, stand-alone works projects in Oxford. This is a fantastic role for someone who thrives in a varied environment and enjoys seeing a project through from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing your own portfolio of smaller works projects across sectors such as:
• Energy
• Solar installations
• Office refurbishments
• FM works
• NEC contracts
• Supporting London and Surrey-based works, including restaurant refurbishments under educational frameworks (e.g., Imperial College London)
• Subcontractor management from procurement to final account
• Ensuring compliance with high-level security requirements

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, BSc in Quantity Surveying)
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and subcontractor management
• Willingness and ability to undergo high-level security clearance checks
• Happy to travel: 3-4 days in Oxfordshire, 1 day in London
