Temporary Contract Administrator
PFI Contract Administrator /support Temporary contract
We have an urgent requirement for a Temporary Assistant PFI Manager to support the PFI General Manager and commercial team in Belfast. The ideal candidate should have immediate availability and a strong understanding of PFI PPP contracts and commercial understanding

- Hybrid Work: After an initial settling-in period, the role offers some flexibility, though you will need to be on-site for the first five days.
This position is well-suited for an experienced PFI contract support, Contract Manager, facilities manager PFI professional or PFI commercial assistant with a background in facilities management PFI contracts. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to review CAPEX applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse CAPEX applications and works.
- Evaluate the operator’s Monthly Operating Report, compile SPV monthly charges, and submit them to the client for payment.
- Assess PFI performance deductions and prepare recovery cases.
- Review capital investment charges from the operator and recommend payments.
- Conduct site inspections and administration
- Identify and pursue cost recovery opportunities from clients or contractors, building strong commercial cases.
- Ensure facilities management operator compliance with commercial obligations outlined in the contract.
- Liaise with company directors, senior client staff, lenders, and advisers.
- Support the Project Representative in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the commercial database and correspondence.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Oversee banking transactions for Board approval.
- Handle health and safety reporting for the public sector client.
Requirements:
- A focused individual capable of managing complex commercial tasks in a high-stakes environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong PFI PPP contract knowledge.
- Experience in waste water would be advantage but not essential
- Analytical with data management skills.
